Jay Totten works closely with financial advisors in Northern California. In this role, he educates advisors on capital markets research, assists in communicating investment concepts, and consults on portfolio construction and practice management issues. Prior to joining Dimensional, Jay was manager of financial planning and strategy for semiconductor design software firm Synopsys.

Jay holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned a B.S. in finance from Santa Clara University, where he was also a member of the men’s soccer team.
